The Angel Scholarship Fund (ASF) is a tax credit opportunity that benefits our school and its students. This State of Ohio approved Scholarship Granting Organization allows you to turn taxes into tuition assistance at potentially no net cost to you. Last year, our parishioners generously contributed over $122,000 in tuition assistance for our St. Angela Merici students through this Tax Credit Scholarship Program.

Here’s how it works:

Individuals may receive a 100% tax CREDIT against their Ohio income tax liability, with a maximum CREDIT of $750 ($1,500 for married couples filing jointly). Contributions made now through April 15, 2025 will be utilized in 2025, dollar for dollar, to benefit our students.

How To Contribute:

· STEP 1 – Review your Ohio tax liability from last year (2023 1040 IT, line 8c) to estimate your 2024 State of Ohio tax liability.

· STEP 2 – Use the contribution form or visit catholiccommunity.org/angel to make a one-time or monthly gift to the ANGEL Scholarship Fund through the Catholic Community Foundation.

· STEP 3 – Claim your scholarship tax credit when you file your 2024 State of Ohio taxes.
